New York county airports resume flying schedules

New York-area airports prepared to resume their flying schedules today after the second storm—a nor’easter—after the already catastrophic damage and disruption Superstorm Sandy. All of this craziness, in less than two weeks, causing power outages, flooding and hindering travel or use of car, bus or other forms of transportation services in CT or the NYC regions is what Limousine Services Worldwide came to the rescue for.

Both flying and transportation to the airports have regained service after suspending some or most of the airline operations yesterday. Cancellations approached near 2,200 adding on top to the 20,000+ earlier due to Hurricane Sandy. The nor’easter caused some skittish feelings both in the airlines and travelers. After Superstorm Sandy they don’t want to take any unnecessary risks in this environment. Apparently, United and American publicized their pullback late on Nov. 6, providing them a head start on the industry’s customary practice of shuttling planes away from severe weather. United was the first to act because after forecasters announced the nor’easter to bring snow and winds as strong as 60 miles per hour. Perhaps it the storm didn’t come with the debris of Hurricane Sandy the many cancellations wouldn’t as large.

People need to be safe whether it is flying or ground car, limo or bus transportation, it is better to be safe than sorry.
